Everyone knows large corporations are bad. They hold monopolies on society and use overpaid lobbyists to encroach on our civil liberties. But how can you stay mad when they offer such family friendly work environments to their minions, I mean employees? Check out these 10 companies that are paving the way for you to put your family first and leave you looking like super mom.

Bayer Corp. has implemented a formal alternative-work program, which allows employees to maintain a healthy work/life balance. With managerial approval they are allowed to work flex hours, telecommute, or compress their work week into 4 days.

Bank Of America allows staffers who work merely 20 hours a week eligibility for benefits. Employees also have the options of job sharing or telecommuting, as well as working a compressed work week.

Arnold Worldwide offers it’s “moms to be” eight weeks paid materinty leave. It also houses a “Chill Out Zone,” where employees can go to take a break from their cubical and play ping-pong, watch TV, or shoot pool. And if all you really need is a place to sit in silence, then you can go to their “Recovery Room” and take a nap or just stare into space.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina offers on site day cares and gives new moms 12 weeks paid leave. Upon returning to work they are given flex schedules, so baby and mommy have time to adjust to being apart.

Capitol One supplies its staff with wireless laptops and blackberry’s so they can work form anywhere, including their kitchen. Have a conference call but need to make sure the kids make the bus? No problem, just set up your corporate knick-knacks and join the call from home.

Citi moms get a whopping 13 weeks of paid leave, guaranteed, upon delivering their little bundle of joy and they are allowed a part time schedule to transition back into work. They also have programs to help moms who are newly back in the work force freshen their skills so they can hit the ground running.

Deloitte & Touche lets moms at the company enroll in the “Personal Pursuits” program that’s offered. It allows moms to take a hiatus of up to 5 years!

Ernst & Young realizes that just because you didn’t actually give birth to your baby doesn’t mean it needs any less care. They offer leave for dads as well as adoptive parents.

FannieMae offers childcare for baby and baby’s grandparents, if needed. Up to 30 subsidized days are offered per year and some employees are even eligible for reimbursement.

Kraft has a full concierge services that’s available to all it’s employees. They can take advantage of the service to help find obstetricians or plane tickets for the family vaca.

With these name brand companies making it easier for women to do it all, it won’t be long before others follow suit. And with all those perks and paid time off, its almost enough to make a single gal want to tie the knot, settle down, and have a few kids…almost.
