Get Fit With Just 30 Minutes Exercise A Day
A total of 116 men and 119 women were trained for six months in either a structured or non-structured exercise program and then monitored for 18 months. The structured exercise program included three to five 20-minute to 60-minute sessions per week at 50 to 85 percent of maximum aerobic capacity. The other group participated in unregulated moderate-intensity physical activity for at least 30 minutes a day.
The results show the non-structured group who did 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity for at least 30 minutes daily, actually burned more calories than the structured group. So, make it your mission to accumulate at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity activity over the course of each day. You don't have to do it all at once. Take a 15 minute walk in the morning and a 15 minute jog at night. Baby steps can lead to big results over time
