lindsay.jpgI’d have to say today’s workout was one of the more difficult ones. Shep had me working on my legs the entire session and by the time we were finished, I could barely stand. The most difficult exercise was the one where I was standing on a bosu ball, had to jump off the bosu ball onto the floor, then jump back onto the bosu ball, WITHOUT FALLING!!! Yeah, that was a little tough. Shep stood in front of me so I wouldn’t fall flat on my face. At first, I was like no way, I’m definitely gonna fall. But, believe it or not, I didn’t fall, and Shep said I actually did really well.

 

Now about that bodybugg. I’m not proud to say that I cheated the other day and had pizza for lunch. But because of the bodybugg, I knew how many calories I had burned and how many calories I had left to burn in order for the pizza to not really have an effect on me…and it worked!!! I was able to figure out how many calories I was able to eat for dinner and work a little extra harder at the gym. I did it and still ended up burning more calories than I consumed for the day. So it’s important to not get discouraged, you can still have pizza for lunch, just know you will need to work a little harder at the gym and you will never feel guilty.

 

Shep’s tip of the day: He can’t stress enough how important it is to keep your body in proper form when exercising. Not only will you get maximum results, but you will also prevent yourself from getting hurt. It is so easy to pull a muscle if you aren’t doing the exercise properly.
