$50 an hour to play a Nintendo Wii?

That’s how much its going to cost you if you happen to be staying at Le Parker Meridien in Manhattan. If you think that’s too steep then get this…guests or non guests of the fitness center in the hotel can work out with a trainer on Wii tennis or boxing at a cost of…$120. Personally I would rather play the actual sports themselves in getting a “semi” work out with these two Nintendo games.
This is all part of a current wave of hotel gaming thats begun to spread all over the U.S. Guitar Hero playoffs can be found at the Hotel Monaco Seattle. In May The Conrad Chicago will offer “Wii Meeting Breaks” for a fee. The biggest of these hotel/video game collaborations is The Westin/Nintendo, as they are in talks with Nintendo to offer
customized Wii consoles in more than 150 hotels
and resorts.
Is gaming in hotels needed? Is it really necessary?
