Our day in Boston

THE GIANTS ARE COMING!!  THE GIANTS ARE COMING!!!  A little play on words there for the warm and patriotic citizens of Boston--just Josh'n with ya--no hard feelings.  Was tough leaving the sun and surf of Ft. Lauderdale but duty called.  Boston's temperature was slightly (like half) less than Florida but equally enjoyable because we had a truly patriotic duty to fulfill.  You asked for us to reenact Paul Revere's historic ride--you know the story--"One if by land, two if by sea"--and all that, so that's what you got.  Neither of us were exactly sure on the specifics of how this ride actually unfolded, but like any good historian we didn't let facts get in the way of the truth.  We set off for Paul Revere's old home in the North End of Boston and got geared up.  We didn't have any horses and couldn't find a lantern anywhere but we're pretty sure we captured the spirit of the ride. Just the looks on the faces of the locals (horror, shame, anguish, etc) was proof enough we had been successful.

Adam's camera work during the filming of the reenactment is by far his best work to date.  There's an award out there with his name on it.  In all seriousness though (we can be serious sometimes) after our filming session came to an end we were able to spend some time enjoying the sights and sounds of Boston--a truly beautiful town with an overwhelming collection of our nation's history.  I always feel lucky each time I get to visit.  Hopefully after this the good people of Boston will still let us visit from time to time.
