It was my favorite mambo Kind Ted McGinley, better known as Jefferson from Married with Children. I could sense the Latino heat from his Latino/Irish roots, but it wasn’t enough. It came down to him and Tony Braxton, but we all know that Toni is one of the favorites for the show.

I was rooting for the guy. He strikes my as an “Everyman” kind of guy. He said it himself, “”I was looking forward to dancing more,” McGinley went on to say:

“I know there’s a lot of guys at home sitting on the couch with a beer in their hand having a little chuckle at me and, you know what, thank you for that. I appreciate it. I’m one of the guys, and I guess I’ll always be one of the guys.”

On the other end of the spectrum, Brooke Burke made it straight through to next weeks competition, with a top score of 26. To my relief, Kim Kardashian and Mark Ballas were the second saved.

Lance Bass and Cody Linley had to await their verdicts until The Jonas Brothers and Jesse McCartney finished their performances “Lovebug” and “Leavin,” but we shouldn’t be surprised that they made it through since they were among the top performers of the night.

Now that the three night premier is as wrapped up as Kim’s Dancing (zing!) the show will be going back to it’s two night format, but now we have an idea of our faves and not so enlightening dancers. What do you guys think about this season?
