Be the Hostess with the Mostest–Host a Cookie Swap

Posted on 16 November 2009 by Hilary

cookieswap Be the Hostess with the Mostest--Host a Cookie Swap The holidays are a busy time for everyone and so planning ahead is key. Get out that calendar and choose a day to invite your friends over for a cookie swap! It’s easy, fun, and a great way to trade inexpensive and delicious gifts this holiday season.

Here’s how it works: Each guest chooses a cookie recipe and bakes a dozen cookies to bring to the swap. At the party, guests swap cookies and recipes, and everyone leaves with a dozen of each type cookie, which can be kept for themselves, shared with friends, or stored in the freezer to eat later in the season.
