The Best Guacamole in the world
Posted on 16 June 2008 by joy

Guacamole is my favorite summer party treat. Besides ice cold margaritas, of course. Something about a big bowl of guacamole makes me feel like I’m living the good life. The best part- it only takes a few fresh ingredients to throw together this party perfect dip.
Making guacamole isn’t an exact science. It’s all about your taste. Feel free to adjust the recipe as you like.
Here’s how to make the magic happen.
Guacamole- For An Army
I rocked this recipe for a party of 35. If you’re having less people, just cut the recipe in half.
16 ripe haas avocados
1 small yellow onion, diced fine, very fine
2 tomatoes on the vine, seeded and diced fine, very find
small handful of cilantro, chopped
1- 1 1/2 limes
salt and pepper
garlic salt

Peel and pit the avocados and place in a large mixing bowl. Add the finely diced onion, tomato and cilantro. Mix and mash until you have your prefered consistency. Mix less for more chumky guacamole and use a potatoe masher for more smooth guacamole. Add the juice of one lime and salt and pepper to taste. Start with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and a dash or two of garlic salt. Add more seasoning as necessary. Mix well, taste. Add the additional juice from 1/2 lime is you like.
