Hasbro’s Elefun and Friends – Good Old Fashioned Fun!
Posted on 18 December 2009 by Andrea
I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of hearing moms going on and on about their “brilliant” children. Go to any play area and you’ll hear, “Tommy’s only in preschool, but he can speak French like a native!” or “Max’s dancing should earn him a Tony! You should see Emma at tee ball!” Between all these preschooler’s classes, tutors and sporting events, no wonder children are exhausted and cranky at the end of the day.
I’m all for my kids achieving – and a few classes here and there are fine – but more important, I want them to have fun. That means less rules and more creative play. It means less regulations and more imagination. It means giggling, laughing and doing things that don’t require outlandish fees or crazy amounts of time in the car. It means Hasbro’s Elefun and Friends.
With their games specifically designed for preschoolers, these laughter-inducing activities were designed to keep the focus on enjoyment rather than rule following. Take Elefun: What can be better than catching butterflies in a net? With Gator Golf kids can master their “hole-in-one” by knocking balls into an alligator’s mouth.
With Hungry Hungry Hippos children everywhere will smile at the marble-munching antics. Don’t forget GIRAFFALAFF Limbo. Tykes everywhere will bend over backwards to play this silly, enchanting limbo game.
The prices are more than reasonable (starting at $14.99). Equally impressive is that each game accommodates up to eight eager hands at once, so there’s no frustrating turn taking or fighting.
Thought and intelligence was put into these preschool appropriate/action games. While I’m not saying kids shouldn’t go out and learn in educational settings, it’s equally as important for kids to relax without rules right at home. With Hasbro’s Elefun and Friends, good old fashioned fun is back on the rise!
