Bristol Palin Welcomes Son: Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston

People Magazine reported that former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol Palin gave birth on Sunday December 28, 2008 to a 7 lb., 4 oz., baby boy in Palmer, Alaska. The sister of Bristol’s grandmother Sally Heath, Colleen Jones, confirmed the news and added that:
“The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited.”
In October, Levi Johnston told the AP that he and fiancée Bristol plan to get married in 2009 and raise the baby together.
