Konami has revealed via press release that the latest MGS title will make its presence known on the iPhone and iPod Touch as Metal Gear Solid Touch. 

Taking place in the MGS4 universe, MGST promises eight “touch shooting” levels when it arrives supposedly in Spring 2009.

As for Xbox 360 owners who had hoped beyond hope that the tease dropped a few weeks back was what everybody thought it was, will have to wait for another day to celebrate the potential platform crossover.

Activision has announced that it’s second DS effort Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades will hit shelves November 16th.

Taking advantage of the Nintendo DS Guitar Grip, Decades includes “more than 26″ new songs across the musical time continuum. Additionally, the title is multiplayer-compatible with the the original On Tour enabling face-offs and multiplayer-only song sharing between the two games.

Xbox 360 enthusiasts will be happy to know that two exclusive DLC chapters for the upcoming action title Tomb Raider: Underworld, publisher Eidos has announced.

The first DLC chapter is called ‘Beneath the Ashes’ and will add a new environment and some enemies to the title; Eidos states It will be available in time for the holidays.

The second of the two chapters entitled ‘Lara’s Shadow’ will bring “a new kind of playable character” into the world, and arrives sometime in early 2009.

The two chapters claim to add six hours to the title, which arrives on shelves November 18th for PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and PSP.

Additonally, Eidos states that an Underworld demo will be downloadable from the Xbox Live Marketplace later this month.

Trivial Pursuit will be released on multiple digital platforms, consoles and mobile devices Electronic Arts has announced today via press release.

While a version of the title has been released for play on Pogo.com, the title won’t hit consoles (PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360) until early spring 2009 with promises of online multiplayer, and several customizable game modes.

EA has confirmed that the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince game has been pushed back until next summer to coincide with the recent delay the film has taken.

Both movie and game were originally slated to launch this fall; however, Warner Bros. recently delayed the film until next summer for marketing reasons. EA suggested the company was still considering a fall release for the game, but apparently have turned away from the idea.

So that’s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hitting shelves next summer on PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and PSP.

A new Indiana Jones title is headed to Nintendo DS and PSP, according to a listing from European game rating board PEGI.

Listed as Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, the action game is reported to be published by Activision, with that being the only detail included.

Like a lot of guns…both literally and metophorically.

Well there you go, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows has been given its box art–supposedly decided from the previously announced contest–and the winner is: Spider-Man trapping Wolverine and Venom in his fists.
