Celebrate Apple Month

Maybe you’re not familiar with the medieval saying, “Ate an apfel avore gwain to bed makes the doctor beg his bread” but it’s got the same idea as the modern day saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Not only are apples a delicious flavorful fruit, they also provide a good source of vitamin C and fiber. With so many varieties to choose from, apples can complement a wide assortment of dishes.
Although apples are available throughout the year, the fall is their peak season. Try mixing McIntosh and Granny Smith apples on a bed of leafy greens along with green onions. The sweet and crisp taste of the apples and the pungent taste of onions are nicely blended together with the flavorful KRAFT Light Raspberry Vinaigrette Salad Dressing.
