Celebrity Divas Taking A Stand Against Cancer

A new addition towards the crusade against Cancer, fifteen of the most beautiful and talented female voices are joining together to combat cancer.
The list of debonair divas includes Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood. This musical overload to the auditory senses is aptly titled, “Just Stand Up” and will hit the mainstream, as well as iTunes, on Sept.2nd. All 15 singers are also scheduled to hit the stage to perform the collaborative single live during the Sept. 5th “Stand Up to Cancer” television special.
This concept was created by the mind of Antonio “L.A.” Reid, along with Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds as the producer. All the proceeds from the “Just Stand Up” single and the fundraiser telethon will benefit cancer research.
