Skylar made most of his money as a token American in many Asian films- where his inability to remember lines didn't mean much because the rest of the actors weren't speaking English, he would just say whatever and that's all they needed for his roles. It's kind of freaky to me that I know most of the people involved. When I was a kid, the Hawks used to pay me to mow their lawn... and later I realized that they were already paying a professional. That's how nice they were, they just wanted teach me to "earn" money. The truth is, I've never seen ANY emotion out of Skylar- even when his girfriend broke up with him in High School, he just gave her some empty (freaky) glances. Honestly, it doesn't surprise me that he did this. Some of my friends were close to him, but I always kept my distance and tried to respectfully warn them that something just wasn't right with this guy.
