Could we very well see a GTA MMO?

A massive online multiplayer game set within the GTA universe? Considered to be a pipe dream by many could very well be a possibility as in an interview with EGM, Rockstar founder Sam Houser calls a GTA MMO “very, very doable and is a very, very compelling proposition.” Even stating that a mainstream subscription based MMO on a console as “”the Holy Grail.”
There are a few setbacks notably how GTA gameplay would work within an encompassing, continuous world. Instead of that immerse captivating universe, the game, Houser says could very well end up with 1,000 players just shooting each other with rocket launchers. What’s wrong with a little bit of anarchy in the GTA?

Me too Hot Donny. I’ve been wondering where the multiplayer is since GTA3. MMO would be out of control. Imagine having huge gangs with turf wars controlling parts of the world.. along with the houses that go with it. There’s so much they could do if they did it right.
