David Archuleta’s Acting Debut

The American Idol runner-up is making it big time… on the small screen!
He’s catapulting his acting career on Nickelodeon’s hit show, about talented teens. “David Archuleta is an ideal fit,” said Dan Schneider, who happens to be the producer and creator of the show.
If you don’t know what iCarly is, it’s a show about a girl, Miranda Cosgrove, who has her own web show. So to mimic Archuleta’s real life situation, he is going to appear as a contestant on “America Sings,” in which I think he will actually win.
“Crush” is the newest single by Archuleta, which he released in August. The 17-year-old admits being nervous about his new found stardom and his new single, but he’ll be alright.
