Jonas Brothers Score Record Numbers

The phenom that is Camp Rock rocked stellar numbers for the Disney Channel over the weekend. The original televison movie starring dreamy Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas snagged 8.9 million viewers on Friday night, making it the most watched cable program all year.
This means more than the MTV Movie Awards, The Hills, Kyra Sedgwick’s The Closer and the amazing Real Housewives of Orange County. (Ok… that last one was a bit of a stretch.)
As big a hit as Camp Rock was, it pales in comparison to last summer’s blockbuster High School Musical 2, which debuted with 17.2 million viewers in August. Way to go, Zanessa!
The Jonas Brothers have a Disney show in development, where they reportedly play spies. Nick Jonas as a spy??? We’re expecting something very gritty and realistic.
