DWTS News Flash 10-6-08

This is the latest news, at least to me! Misty-May Treanor has hurt her Achilles Tendon, and is out of the show for good.
Brooke Burke confirmed that her fellow competitor said she heard a “pop” and may need surgery on L.A.’s 104.3 FM. Well that sounds bad enough, but this tendon is also the jumping mechanism for the volleyball star. So what’s volleyball without jumping? Closest thing is tetherball, but there aren’t any Olympic trials for tetherball that I know of.
Since she is out of the competition, is everyone safe this round? Burke says, “We don’t know. They still have the same amount of shows.” Then again, she also went on to say, “I heard [Edyta Sliwinska] and [Maksim Chmerkovskiy] may dance together since both of their partners are gone, but I don’t know what’s going to happen.” Those seem like good breaks for the dancers right? But is it really fair?
More Breaking news: Kim Kardashian may return to replace Misty-May! Ryan Seacrest apparently was talking to Kim and there may be a return for her!
