Whatever you call it-  Challah, Egg Bread, Braided Bread, this bread is amazing!   I’ve always been slightly intimidated by working with yeast.  Believe me when I say that this egg bread is one of the easier yeasted doughs to work with.  There’s plenty of fat from the eggs and butter that go into the dough, so the bread dough isn’t too fussy about being handled. 

This bread is perfect when eaten warm, straight from the oven and also makes a killer French Toast the next day for breakfast.  It’s an all purpose bread with just a touch of sweetness.  Go! Try!
