Fable 2 Online Co-op Patch Finished, Available as ‘First Day Free Download’

Good news arrives less than 36 hours from Fable II’s release as Lionhead Studios’ official blog reports that the update enabling online co-op is finished, and will be available as a ‘first day free download’ on Xbox Live.
From the post:
We are pleased to provide “Fable II” fans around the world with the chance to hop in and out of their friend’s “Fable II” worlds, to meet their heroes, dogs, spouses and experience Albion, together online. “Fable II” will be available at retailers throughout North America on October 21 and across Europe on October 24.”
The ‘free’ aspect of it seems rather redundant as the feature was to be included in the game originally before the news of adding it post-launch.
