There is one reason, and one reason alone that I want to work at Google for the rest of my life: free gourmet food all day, every day. You think I’m kidding!? I’ve never been more serious in my life.

Google runs 11 free gourmet food cafeterias and an seemingly endless number of snack rooms. It seems like heaven to me. Literally.

Now you can bring the food of Google home. The only trick is that it’s not prepared for you, for free, by a gourmet chef while you work. I know, kind of a serious drawback, but Food 2.0, by Google Chef Charlie Ayers still has a significant amount of charm.

Food 2.0 focuses on a mostly holistic approach to dining, encouraging local buying and featuring recipes with loads of plant goodness. The book features both whole foods, and home cooking, no doubt to keep Google employees satisfied and still awake after their lunch break.

Check out food from Google. And daydream about the life and lunch of Google employees.
