Bay Area Foodie is on the right track. Nicole knows that it’s time to get tomatoes while they’re around. She made the most gorgeous caprese salad inspired by Jamie Oliver. This salad has been dubbed the “mothership tomato salad”. With juicy ripe heirloom tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, and roughly cut basil, this salad is absolute perfection. For a twist, try adding thinly sliced ripe peaches along with the tomato slices. You’ll be surprised how beautifully the peaches pair with the tomatoes, cheese and a touch of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
