Food and Technology: A Recipe for Success
Posted on 17 April 2009 by Manny
Nowadays, great pairings are popping up everywhere, especially in fast foods and the like, but not until recently did two of my favorite things finally make a union of greatness. LoveMyPhilly (or Philadelphia Cream Cheese to most of you) is now on Twitter.
DEI Worldwide (our parent company) is manning the Love My Philly Twitter account. DEI Worldwide has several years experience in online media branding and using the latest technology in social media out there, in order to connect consumers with brands.
One of the great things about @LoveMyPhilly, is that their tweets are conveniently updated according to meal times. If you’re feeling hungry for a snack around 3 o’clock, you’ll find a quick and easy snack recipe that’s just been tweeted for your convenience. It also makes it really easy to manage recipes, because let’s face it, sometimes we can lose our favorite tweets in a sea of updates. All you have to do is mark it as a favorite, even from your cell phone! When you get home, the recipe is stored and ready for you. It’s that simple.
If you’re ever out of cooking ideas or just craving some Philly, just check out the @LoveMyPhilly Twitter page and add them to your following list. You’ll be granting yourself access to tons of recipes on everything from breakfast, lunch, dessert, snacks, and even dinner recipes! Not only that, but you will also get access to the “Philly Insiders,” who I’ve found to be very approachable, informative, and they even follow back, so drop them a line whenever you get a chance. Your stomach will thank you.
