Free AAA Tipsy Tow Service for New Years Eve

We’re all going to party hard for New Years, but I want everyone to make it to the next one, so I found that there are free New Years Towing Service out there, by awesome AAA (which I strongly recommend you join because they have awesome services) and other companies powered by grants and such, to help get you home safely and it’s free! Seriously, think about it. A first-time drunken driving conviction can cost $13,500 or more in fines, penalties, restitution, legal fees and increased insurance costs, according to the Auto Club.
From the research I found, there are different numbers out there depending on location, but here’s a breakdown of the info I found. They’re good starting points, so be sure to confirm with them, as well as adding them to a speed dial, before you get out and drunk dialing.

New Year’s Eve Rides
The Auto Club is once again offering free Tipsy Tow service on New Year’s Eve to drivers who’ve consumed too much alcohol to drive safely. Call (800) 400-4AAA [4222] for a free tow of up to seven miles. The service, which is available from 6 p.m. on December 31 through 6 a.m. on January 1, excludes rides for passengers and is restricted to a one-way, one-time ride and tow for the driver and his or her vehicle. The destination for this service is limited to the driver’s residence. Be sure to say, “I need a Tipsy Tow.”
