Bust out the booze and celebrate! Today is the 75th anniversary of the end of Prohibition! For those of us in the food industry, and for those of us who love a nice hard drink, today’s anniversary is a big deal. But let’s face facts, we don’t really need an excuse for a cocktail.

I plan on celebrating my constitutional right to a cocktail with several bottles of fine wine, great cheese and friends. We’ll be sure the toast to our right to gather and consume.

However you celebrate, do it with cocktail in hand, because you can.
