The Oscar-winning Hilary Swank was hospitalized after “experiencing some discomfort” according to her rep.  She went to the hospital where the doctor prescribed an “immediate course of action that included a brief hospitalization to remove a small benign growth,” manager Jason Weinberg stated.

That sounds like REALLY bad news to me. I really do hope that she is feeling better, because “small benign growths” never sound too reassuring, yet her rep reassures us that there aren’t any continuing health issues and she just needs some rest. Luckily, Hilary is a champ! I’m sure she’ll fight the good fight and be up and running in no time. Nonetheless, we wish the best of luck to her and her family.
