I'm not saying ban video games in schools but it may be time for a PSA about proper video game usage (i.e. don't put any portable video game consoles in your pocket)

sexy-japanese-schoolgirls.jpgCops busted a prostitution ring of young Japanese schoolgirls who text suitors from there cell phones. They use codes like "IkebLURV1700Yukichi2JC1" This peticular code says the prostitute will have sex and it gives a location for where the john and girl can meet. They meet through a dating site where girls post their cell numbers.

About 80 percent of those who accessed the site are believed to have been pedophiles or those fixated with young girls. But the posts on the bulletin board were nearly all written in code.

Picture 2.jpgEveryone knows that companies go all out on the commercials for the superbowl since viewership of this sporting event is astronomical. If you are not a fan of football yet wish to see the commercials don't fret they have uploaded all the commercials to a MySpace page. The commercials are broken down into 1st - 4th quarter 's of the game. You can see Justin Timberlake hawk Pepsi, Will Ferrell in his new movie Semi-Pro and watch Alice Cooper and Fatloss guru Richard Simmons  peddle Bridgestone tires.

A total of 395 Croatians decked out in a white hat and blue paint all over were looking to break a Guinness World Record. No, it had nothing to do with the Blue Man Group but rather the popular cartoon The Smurfs and the Guinness World Record of most surfs in one place.

Once contact was made with Guinness officials to register for the world record, the group were given the news that they had in fact missed the number by 56 as the current record according to Guinness World Records is 451 set by an English group in Warwick.

A spokesman for the organizers said: "We read on the internet that the record was 290 people held by a group of Americans, and decided to beat it, and we had TV, radio and print media report our success."

It appears that they missed their opportunity and blue it.

hersheysdrugs.jpgThe Hershey Co. is halting production of Ice Breakers Pacs in response to criticism that the mints look too much like illegal street drugs, the company's president and chief executive officer said Thursday.

Hershey CEO David J. West disclosed the decision during a conference call about the company's newly released fourth-quarter earnings report.

Ice Breakers Pacs, which first hit store shelves late last year, are nickel-sized dissolvable pouches with a powdered sweetener inside. The pouches come in blue or orange and bear the Ice Breakers logo.

Members of Philadelphia's police narcotics squad said the mints closely resembled tiny heat-sealed bags used to sell powdered street drugs. They charged that the consequences could be serious if, for example, a child familiar with the mints found a package of cocaine.

Michael Joel Hamby, 42, of Monahan Drive (in Fort Walton Beach, FL), faces felony charges of battery, resisting an officer with violence and violating his probation for a third DUI conviction. And the reason? An argument with employees from the restaurant Chik-fil-A over the price of a sandwich.

When a security officer asked Hamby to leave, Hamby  “grabbed her arm in a forceful manner” and said, “I know your name — it’s Ms. [expletive].” A strong odor of alcohol from Hamby's breath was noticed by the officer.

Running away from the restaurant which was inside a mall, Hamby was arrested at Sears, at the front of the entrance.

This was no ordinary snake however, rather a 14 ft Burmese python. Curtis Dewberry,  35, was seen waking along Montauk Highway, Long Island with the reptile wrapped around his body. An officer for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals noticed this and called for police.

Dewberry was charged with animal cruelty and failure to protect the public against dangerous wildlife. The snake (which weighs 70lbs) will now be taken to an out of state reptile habitat, according to Newsday.
