That’s right, well kind of. The lesbian lip-locking Katy Perry will attempt to walk in Madonna’s shoes on Mtv’s VMAs, live on Sunday night at 9pm ET. Katy Perry will perform Madonna’s hit song, “Like a Virgin.”.

Last time we saw this awesome song, at the VMAs, was back in 2003 with an awesome performance by Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Missy Elliot, and the queen herself, Madonna. They were all rolling around the ground and everything! This performance was made world famous by the historical lesbian kiss between Madonna and Britney Spears. Coincidence that Perry chose this act, I think not! It’s going to be a tough act to follow. I hope Perry can handle it. I’ll say this much, it’s going to take more than cherry Chapstick to pull this one off.
