Leighton Meester Battles Domestic Violence

Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester is doing all she can to fighting against domestic violence. I like the avenue she took. What better way to spread the word than to use the runway media. You can tell that it’s something she feels strongly when she says, “I think it’s an issue that everyone can take part in because it applies to everyone. You can be a victim or someone you love can be a victim. The more people are aware, the more it can be prevented.”
The actress not only talks the talk, but walks the walk, even if she has to walk barefoot! She donated a pair of her Stuart Weiztman shoes for Marshall’s Shop ‘Till it Stops campaign. See now that’s commitment! Leighton Meester’s naked feet will kick domestic violence’s butt. Seriously though, it’s good to see when celebs show support for things that affect everyone, especially women. It’s a great way to attack an issue. Do good things while looking good doing it. Fashion and Charity finally look good together.
