Lionhead Working on Fable 2 Glitches

Lionhead will apparently have to deal with some early issues with their action-RPG title Fable 2, as the developer’s forums have blown up with complaints concerning freezes, losing experience points, missing gold, and many other issues.
The studio claims that its will put forth its best effort to respond to these issues:
“Some things slip through the net during development, especially when a game is the size and scope of Fable II,” the studio explained. “Again, we can only apologize for this issue, but we are doing our best.”

Try downloading to hard drive on the xbox 360. It will greatly improve waiting times like that annoying delay for the menus

i am having problems with the no sales glitch, i really enjoy playing this game although there are a few glitches that have made it not as enjoyable as it would have been, hope some patches will help and i’m looking forward to fable 3!

i found a glinch at Love Hurt quest where as u get the final body part for the quest, as u turn the quest in the mansion doors close and starts the quest again. should i swap the game for another one or should i start the game again?

2009 now none of the glitches i have got have been fixed this game is no good dont buy it lionhead get ur act together.

Somw Guy, that’s horrible! I haven’t heard anything about that kind of problem yet, but I’ll keep an eye out for sure. If you find anything out, let me know too

For some reason after i merged my fable 2 pub games acc with my fable 2 acc entire xbox freezes at the area loading screen so iv lost my acc :\ realy wished it didnt happen seen as i was about to get my last achievement
any 1 know how to fix it?
btw i merged from within pub games if that helps

well…for some reason i havent had any problems at all…im lucky =)…he normal alex wife thing never happened or anything….well thats not what im here for i wanted to ask can your child grow older than 9 and if so can he/she kill anything..Its a very exhausting question i have been asking with nor replies..

I got up to the kill bob/dont kill bob bit in fable 2 having done an endless amount of side quests… I am now ****** *** (upset) because wether i kill bob or not the game ends in a screen of black no-more-game-for-you-ness. lion head can bite its own ***** (toung) off for all I care. They sux!

No crap, Captain Obvious. However, we aren’t the ones creating games and selling them, are we? If you’re going to sell a product for profit, then you’d better be damn sure it works.
If you went into Subway and they made you an awful sandwich, do you think it would be acceptable for them to tell you, “Yeah, well, you couldn’t make one any better!”? If your answer is yes, then you’ve definitely got some growing up to do.

I had freezing problems really bad. The original copy I bought, and I also rented two others and within ten minutes of game play on either copy the game would just freeze up.
I downloaded the NXE to the consol, and I used it to copy Fable2 directly to my hard drive. Freezing Problem Completely Fixed. Takes about 7 gigs though.
Only other glitch I have experienced is No furniture for sale, and My kid just being an unresponsive statue. Bummer.

It is really bad how glitched this game really is. I don’t know how their testers could not see some of these glitches that are happening on a large scale. Either bad testing or the game was rushed out for the holidays.

I have the same issue with my kid freezing and not moving anymore. It happened when I tried to take her out to explore with me. Sadly I consider that as a glitch alone, why cant you take kids out into the open world with you? Peter is that chicken of having child death in his game, so much that he had to include something stupid like “your wife or husband is dead, a child agency has now taken your child away”. Other issues I’ve had was the music stopping, and my character is still stuck really short and won’t grow no matter how many times I upgrade my Skill. He remains so damn small.

I can’t play the game for more than 10 min without the music suddenly stopping, once the music stops the whole game freezes.
Also happens when opening menus or when any type of screen has to come up.

the game is great but I have the same freeze and can not get into brightwood anymore after the blind date quest which really sucs,,is there any solution coming or do we just see our money go bye bye…

I want to know why lions head coulnd’t take the time to fix this before they sent it out. I cant finish the quest im on and now my last save is right before it and I cant due anything at all cant fight talk to anyone nothing

“Some things slip through the net…” hope that was a joke. how can you miss this many bugs? lionhead better hurry with the patches or im returning dis game >.< im so eager to play im still in the first village rigth after the childhood level!!! i cant get pass the cave without it glitching. i even got father in the cave WITHOUT the patches…

I can’t believe my quest has come to an end until lionhead sort the glitches out in fable 2, the game freezes every time i go to get lucian’s diary, i am glad i am not alone though. Fantastic game but sort the glitches quickly lionhead.

This is a wicked game but game the glitches are annoying i had to start over twice just to make it somewhere. I saved it once and it froze in the middle of the loading screen so i can’t play that, and the other one is i cant pull out my weapon assisans jumped in the middle of town and i cant pull out my weapons or do magic or talk to people.

Worst game ive ever purchased, story line is too short crap gameplay boring repetitive your traveling all the time to do what? kill 2 enemies that die on a couple of shots.. Waste of money damn you lionhead.

It’s unaceptable the number of glitches that are still in this game. To respond with “some things slip through” is an absolute joke. You would have to not even test the game before release to miss this many problems. This is the last Lionshead game I will waste my money on. It’s a shame because the game would be great if it weren’t for all the glitches

hey i have fable 2 and there is a lot of glitches the guards go into the gate wen the gate is closed they go right frothy it and people can do it to ye and the speech glitches they say the same think over and over there so many i can’t say them all

I have fable 2 and there are glitches. Im married and had a kid and My kid is frozen. He dosnt move. I think Im going to kill my wife because shes ugly and then just marry over in a way bigger house. I hope that Lionhead can fix the glitches though. That would be great.

Hey it happens. There were probably only about 50-60 people testing this game for about 8 hours a day. Then the game comes out and there are a million people playing for about 2 hours a day. the end users will of course find things that the testers and developers didn’t. but that’s why patches are so lovely
