To spice up this yummy dip, stir in 1 fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped, into chili before spreading over the cream cheese. For a lower fat option use Philly Neufchatel Cheese and/ or 1 can of Refried Beans or Turkey Chili. Need a big batch? This works wonderfully in a crock pot! Just stir to blend, with your pot set on 'Low', and sprinkle on the tomato/ onion garnish before serving. You can even quadruple this recipe with no trouble!


1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 can  (15 oz.) chili, any variety
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1-1/2 cups  chopped tomatoes
1/3 cup sliced green onions


SPREAD cream cheese onto bottom and up side of 9-inch microwaveable pie plate or quiche dish. Spread chili over cream cheese; sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.

MICROWAVE on HIGH 3 min. or until dip is heated through and Cheddar cheese is melted.

TOP with tomatoes and onions Serve hot with tortilla chips or NABISCO Crackers.
