Apple, Pecan, and Blue Cheese Spread

Adults and Kids a like will love the unique flavor and texture of this hearty dip. The tang of the blue cheese and the sweetness of the apples is a great flavor combination. It works well on thick flaky cracker, but also makes a great sandwich filling. Try it inside a piece of pita bread, or wrapped up in a tortilla!

Berry Creamy Sandwich Cookies

These are a fun and sweet treat to pack for you next picnic in the park. Take your favorite vanilla or lemon sandwich cookie top with a little Philadelphia strawberry cream cheese and fresh seasonal berries. Pack them in a shallow Tupperware container so they don’t slide around to much.

This is an excellent dessert to serve on a platter when hosting a party. When fresh strawberries are in season, substitute them for the raspberries and blueberries.


1/4 cup PHILADELPHIA Strawberry Light Cream Cheese Spread
12   SNACKWELL'S Sugar Free Lemon Creme Sandwich Cookies
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1/2 cup  fresh blueberries

SPREAD cream cheese spread evenly onto cookies.

PLACE 1 raspberry in center of each cookie. Arrange ring of blueberries around each raspberry.

SERVE immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to 1 hour.

Very healthy and tasty breakfast for strawberry lovers. Substitute 2 toasted whole grain waffles for the bagel halves. Or, prepare using your favorite flavor bagel and / or your favorite flavor of Philly Cream Cheese. Top with your choice of fresh, canned or dried fruit. For a totally different idea, spread a toasted English muffin half with a spoonful of Cheez Whiz Cheese Dip. Top with apple slices.

1 plain bagel, split, toasted
2 Tbsp.  PHILADELPHIA Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread
2 fresh strawberries, sliced


SPREAD bagel halves with cream cheese spread.

TOP with strawberry slices.



Glazed Sweet Rolls

These sweet rolls are delightful when served with a cup of flavored coffee. The slightly sour center filling is a nice contrast to the sweetness of the glaze. You can try replacing the lemon and 1\2 tsp vanilla if you prefer a sweeter flavor. Use frozen bread dough if you don't have enough time to make it from scratch.


3/4 cup plus 3 Tbsp. milk, divided
10 Tbsp.  butter or margarine, divided
2 tsp. lemon juice, divided
3-1/2 cups  flour, divided
3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided
2 pkg.  active dry yeast
1/2 tsp. salt
4   eggs, divided
1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans
1 pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1-3/4 cups sifted powdered sugar


PLACE 3/4 cup of the milk and 8 Tbsp. (1 stick) of the butter in small saucepan; cook on low heat until butter is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Stir in 1 tsp. of the lemon juice. Mix 2 cups of the flour, 1/2 cup of the granulated sugar, the yeast and salt in large bowl. Add milk mixture; beat with electric mixer on medium speed 2 min. Add 3 of the eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in enough of the remaining 1-1/2 cups flour to form soft dough.

PLACE dough on lightly floured surface; knead 5 min. or until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl. Melt remaining 2 Tbsp. butter; brush onto dough. Cover; let rise in warm place about 1-1/2 hours or until doubled in volume. Punch down dough. Place on floured surface; roll out to 18x12-inch rectangle. Sprinkle with pecans. Roll up from 1 of the long ends; press edges together to seal. Cut into 18 (3/4-inch-thick) slices. Place, 1 inch apart, on greased baking sheets; flatten each into 4-inch circle. Cover; let rise in warm place 45 min. or until doubled in volume.

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Beat cream cheese, remaining 1/4 cup granulated sugar and remaining 1 tsp. lemon juice with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add yolk from remaining egg; mix well. Make depression in center of each roll; fill with rounded tablespoonful of the cream cheese mixture. Lightly beat remaining egg white; brush onto dough.

BAKE 15 min. or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks. Mix powdered sugar and remaining 3 Tbsp. milk until well blended. Drizzle over warm rolls.

So tasty! This cinnamon- apple delight makes a great snack or breakfast. You can try making this recipe by toasting the bread, spreading the cream cheese and just topping with apple slices. It's a great way to make apple slices even tastier, and kids will devour it!


2 slices whole grain cinnamon raisin bread
2 Tbsp.  PHILADELPHIA Fat Free Cream Cheese, softened
4 thin slices apple
1/8 tsp.  ground cinnamon
1 tsp. margarine


SPREAD bread with cream cheese. Top one of the bread slices with apples and cinnamon; cover with remaining bread slice, cream cheese-side down.

MELT margarine in nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add sandwich; cook 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides.

This is an amazingly good dip, even kids will enjoy the unique flavors. Triscuit crackers are the perfect complement in taste and texture.



1 container (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Light Cream Cheese Spread
1/2 cup  BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream
1 Rome Beauty apple, finely chopped
1/4 cup  ATHENOS Crumbled Blue Cheese
1/4 cup chopped red onions
1/4 cup  chopped toasted PLANTERS Pecans
TRISCUIT Crackers


BEAT cream cheese spread and sour cream in medium bowl until well blended.

ADD apples, blue cheese, onions and pecans; mix well. Cover.

REFRIGERATE at least 2 hours. Serve as a spread with the crackers.


Heart Breadsticks

Hello perfect Valentine's Day recipe!  You and your lover or family will have a wonderful time making and eating these delicious heart-shaped breadsticks! Try substituting dried oregano leaves for the thyme leaves. The topping combinations are endless, so if you have a sweet tooth try topping them with a yummy cinnamon and sugar mixture instead.


1 can (11 oz.) refrigerated soft breadsticks
2 Tbsp. KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed


PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Separate breadstick dough into 12 pieces. Twist 2 pieces together; form into heart shape on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough pieces to make a total of 6 hearts.
SPRINKLE evenly with cheese and thyme.
BAKE 15 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.

Cranberry-Turkey Bagel

A great alternative to the typical PB & J.
This is a super quick lunch idea that's perfect to bring it to work! The cranberry gives the sandwich a delightful taste, and trying toasting the bagel, if that's your thing. Serve with a mixed green salad and a glass of fat-free milk to round out the meal.


2 Tbsp. PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Spread
1 whole wheat bagel, split
1 thin slice red onion
6 slices OSCAR MAYER Shaved Smoked Turkey Breast
1 Tbsp. whole berry cranberry sauce


SPREAD cream cheese spread evenly onto cut sides of bagel.
PLACE onion slice and turkey on 1 bagel half; top with cranberry sauce and remaining bagel half.

These melt-in-your-mouth biscuits are perfect for serving a group of guests on a special occasion. Very, very, very good and super simple to make.  Once you serve them for a special breakfast, you'll be sure make them again and again! Make the savory version by substituting 1/2 cup Kraft 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese and 1 tsp. Italian seasoning for the cinnamon sugar.


1 can (16.3 oz.) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cut into 12 cubes
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted


PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Separate dough into 12 biscuits; press or roll each to 1/4-inch thickness.
MIX sugar and cinnamon in shallow dish. Dip cream cheese cubes in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar. Place 1 cheese cube in center of each dough circle; gather up sides of dough to enclose filling. Press edges of dough together to seal. Place, seam sides up, in lightly greased muffin pan. Drizzle with any remaining butter; sprinkle with any remaining cinnamon sugar.
BAKE 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
