Everyone is talking about those photos of Madonna from this weekend.  The ones where she’s leaving the Kaballah Center in New York looking horrifying.

Her long-suffering rep Liz Rosenberg says it’s no cause for concern though.

“I just think the photographer got a bad shot of her or it was touched up to make her look bad,” she says. “I saw Madonna two days before at her rehearsal and she looked amazing – glowing skin and working really hard on her show.”

“She may look a little thinner than usual,” she continues, “but she was dancing and singing better than ever and ate a nice healthy meal.”

So her appearance has nothing to do with the fact that her life is a total circus right now?

“She’s working hard rehearsing eight hours a day for her tour,” says the Liz, who also claimed rumors that the singer ghost-wrote her brother’s tell-all “ludicrous.”

“If she had anything to do with that book, it would have been better written and more eloquent,” says Rosenberg. Ouch!  But she is right.  Have you ever read the lyrics to Papa Don’t Preach?

“To say Madonna needs publicity is insane,”  her tough-talking rep concludes.  “Her ticket sales are amazing. And she’s in a great space.”
