So, summer is coming to an end and maybe you didn’t get a chance to take your dream vacation to Europe. You don’t have to travel to Greece or Italy to experience the unique flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. You can easily turn an ordinary salad into a Mediterranean-inspired treat by adding ingredients like curry powder, ripe olives and bite-size pieces of pita bread into the mix.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a salad without seasonal produce like fresh cucumbers! Did you know that cucumbers are actually a fruit? In fact, they are even related to melons and are also part of the gourd family. With this genealogy, it’s no wonder their naturally mild and crisp flavor can complement such a wide variety of dishes.

KRAFT Ranch Salad Dressing is the perfect foil to bring together all the vegetables — and fruits — of the Mediterranean. Its creamy taste balances the pungent flavors of the radishes and red onions while complementing the olives and cucumbers to create a flavorful masterpiece. We even think Da Vinci would approve of this one.
