MGS 4: More Details and Theatrical Trailer

Little nuggets of information and media are thrown to us like food pellets as we close in on the international release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on June 12th. The game has received its first official review and yesterday some in-game marketing information came out for the title.
For one, Snake will be equipped his own personal Ipod that apparently is loaded with Japanese pop songs and old Metal Gear Solid tracks. In a much cooler move Snake will be able to wear unlockable Assassin’s Creed garb circa April, 1 2008.
Other in game products include a Japanese energy drink known as Regain that will replace the CalorieMate as an in-game power-up, apparently with a funny commercial to go with. Among other merchandise, a motorcycle and a duck alarm clock that are in the game will also be available for purchase; not to mention all the swag Konami has been handing out at events and with game bundles.
Pure Capitalism aside they did release a very cool theatrical trailer for your viewing pleasure, and if you needed any more convincing that this is just as much a cinematic experience as it is gaming, here’s your proof:
