MGS4: Snake’s Last Run, Not Metal Gear’s
Posted on 19 May 2008 by Erik
For those who have been swayed by the cryptic and at times completely ambiguous talk by developers of the Metal Gear Solid series into believing that this is the last Metal Gear Solid title, it is in fact not.
While it apparently is the last run for Solid Snake, the series looks to continue on, Associate Producer Ryan Payton revealed:
“I think there’s been some misconceptions that this is the last ‘Metal
Gear’. This is really just the last chapter of the saga of
the Solid Snake story.”
Of course nothing has been confirmed and no other hints have been given as to what plot lines they would move on from and which ones they’d keep.
We’ll most likely be slowly informed piece by piece over a 3 year span just like every other Kojima game, but still good news for a great series.
