natural-harvest Natural Harvest- A Cookbook, but be warned.

I’m going to try, with all sincerity, to keep this as clean as possible.

Here are the facts: Paul Photenhauer is a man with a dream. He had a dream to write a cookbook. His highlighted ingredient? Semen… yes.. semen. Thanks to lulu.com, the site that lets you create your own cookbook masterpiece, Photenhauer’s Natural Harvest: A collection of semen based recipes, is available for you, for me, for everyone.

Really Paul Photenhauer? Semen? Are you serious?

Oh he’s serious. According to Paul “”Semen is not only nutritious, but has a palatable texture and wonderful cooking properties.” It’s widely available, has a complex flavor and the taste will vary according to the dude’s diet.

Some of his recipes include the Almost White Russian, Man Made Oysters and Tuna Sashimi with dipping sauce (no! please no dipping sauce!). Are you totally grossed out? Yea, me too. Don’t even get me started on the stuffed crepes.

What do you think? Are you in for this kind of cookbook or are you horrified?

Rush over to lulu.com if you can’t stand to live without this cookbook for another minute. As a side note, the comments section is a serious laugh. Oh humanity!

for Lise–would you share the gingerbread cookies recipe for my wife and I? She would also like to know what town (if you are able to say) you are from as my wife is also from a small village in India (where she learned tantric treatments which is another great part of our life) where semen was a normal part of the family diet. Her mother taught her some of the recipes to her and her sisters. It was said to have miraculous healing properties and her mother lived to 104 and her grandmother was 110 when she died and she too cooked with semen.
new recipes are always great to have

my wife and i have known the healing properties of semen and urine for years and cook often with it. we have used it in deserts and seafood dishes and in sauces. My wife freezes it in ice cube trays (which she will use as a treat for herself-kind of like meltaways) and has it on hand for other dishes. We are very clean people and if you look into the properties of semen, it is all good. Get past the weird factor and it is good. Most men have tasted their own (or they lie) and it is really not as uncommon as you think. We have other close friends that share this with us and they have our dishes and we have thiers at thier homes. i can tell you it has helped with my intestinal issues (colitis and IBD) and my wife loves the “daily milking”.
your friends will be commenting on the unique and wonderful taste. Dont knock it till you actuall try it. What a great christmas book for us.

People sound surprised but semen cookies were traditional Christmas treat in my town when I was a girl.

Well, as i visited the books page on lulu.com, it appears to me that there is a huge market for this sort of thing, apparently lots and lots of people eat semen. And feed it to their friends and families. huh.
