New Year, New Body

99% of everybody I know or have ever met, has the exact same new years resolution; to lose weight. I always tell myself that I will start the new year fresh and, eat healthy and workout a lot…but somehow I fall off the wagon quickly. This year I am 100% dedicated to getting into shape and with the help of my super awesome trainer Jarett Del Bene, you can also achieve that beach body by summer.
The most important thing about getting into shape or losing weight is your diet. 70% of the weight loss/getting into shape process is based around your diet. No matter how many miles you run or sit-ups you do…your body will not see results unless your diet is on point. An important thing to remember is to not allow your metabolism to spike, and you do so by eating every 3-4 hours. When you don’t eat, your body goes into starvation mode and you begin to break down muscle to store fat for nutrition.
The second thing about getting into shape, is the working out part. A lot of people find this overwhelming, especially if you have never been inside a gym before. However I have listed some simple workout moves below that are very simple and require no weights or gym memberships! All you need to do is pair these workouts with some form of cardio and you will see results in no time.
Also, check out self.com or shape.com for some really great all over body workout routines.

Great advice. Proper nutrition should always be put in place first as it will boost your metabolism helping you burn fat, ensure you are getting the right nutrients for muscle growth, repair and recovery and enable you to function at your peak. Combining that with proper exercise and strength training is the best way to reach your weight loss goals fast.
