Obama’s Kids Prefer the Jonas

How do you know you’ve succeeded as a parent? The moment when your own kids prefer to see celebrities– over you.
Unlike Anne Hathaway, who was terrified to meet Obama at the DNC, his daughters say, big deal. After Michelle Obama’s speech on Monday, she wanted to surprise her kids with a message from their father via satellite. When she went to tell the kids about the surprise, they asked, “is it the Jonas Brothers?” Ouch!
Well in their defense, the Jonas Brothers were playing a show in Chicago, their hometown, so I guess they had their hopes up. Sorry Obama, presidency doesn’t cut it these days, maybe if you get nominated for a VMA, but I doubt it.
Oh yeah, don’t forget that the Jonas brothers are nominees for the VMAs, which airs live on MTV, Sunday at 9pm.
