One Too Many Baby Showers

I think it may be considered a sin not to have a baby shower when welcoming baby number one into the world. Proper etiquette calls for one baby shower, since the purpose is to provide the expectant mother with the things she will need for her new addition. But what about babies two, three, and for? Don’t they deserve to be celebrated. If children are such a blessing, why shouldn’t you celebrate the impending arrival of each one?
In this case, the proper etiquette would be to throw the party and make sure your guest know that your baby shower is a celebration of baby and not a time to be showered upon with gifts, but rather love for yourself and your tiny sweet pea. Having a party theme is always a good idea and having baby trivia games would be fun. Put together a funny slide show of you and your first born with pictures showcasing the lessons you learned with that baby to prepare you for the next one. Keep it fun and festive.
