OpenTable Reservations Now Available on iPhone

Some of the most helpful and popular applications that you can install on your iPhone are based around food. Two of the most popular are UrbanSpoon and Yelp. UrbanSpoon helps you locate restaurants and Yelp shows you user reviews and such. So it really was only a matter of time before a company decided to fill the gap that was missing on our iPhone: making the reservation. This is where the popular online reservation site OpenTable.com came into play.
Today OpenTable.com launched an iPhone application that not only shows you restaurants near you, but also lets you book a table without calling and waiting on hold. According to TechCrunch:
You are shown only nearby restaurants, and cannot filter by type of cuisine or refine your search as easily as you can on the Website. But the app is perfectly functional. The key is that it only shows you nearby restaurants that have open tables for the time when you want to eat.
Best of all the application is free!
