Pete Wentz Encourages to Rock the Vote… VMA style!

The Fallout Boy, Pete Wentz, has been known to be a political activist who tries to inspire youth activism. Well, now he can add voting for the VMAs to the list. Wentz is not shy at all about who won his vote—comeback queen Britney Spears.
The “Rock the Vote” activist, along with singer/guitarist Patrick Stump, was pretty forthcoming on their stand for the VMAs’ candidates. The two cast their vote for Britney Spears because they feel that, “Britney really proves how much the fans really matter, because the fans really want to see Britney win and turn it around.” Sounds a bit hopeful Petey, but I hope you’re right.
On a more somber note, Wentz admits that they have been voting for other people’s videos because they don’t feel it is Fall Out Boy’s year. Well he has been having a huge year regardless, with a new album coming out, the birth of his child with his wife, Ashley Simpson, and even thoughts of getting out of L.A. and eventually ending up in Chicago, someday.
