Photoshopped Phelps Uglier Than The Original

Sports Illustrated has named Michael Phelps the “Sportsman of the Year” and placed him on the cover of their December double issue. I am not sure if starring at this computer screen for the last 7 hours has totally messed with my eye sight, but something is SERIOUSLY off in this photo. I know Phelps is not by any means handsome, but…really!? Whatever techniques were used to make him appear sexier failed beyond FAILING.
I have given my baby cousin a pencil and she has managed to scribble lines that look sexier than this “professionally” done magazine cover. I am fairly sure that the worlds greatest Olympian should have had somebody with a mild understanding of Photoshop attempt to help. Even I, and I SUCK at Photoshop, can clearly see the errors in this photo. Phelps face is totally shrunken and tilted in a way nobody should be able to move…his neck is almost as long as this giraffe I saw at the LA Zoo and then the shine that they left when they retouched his face is just obnoxious! They should quickly recall this issue, burn every copy and replace it with a cover that just shows Phelps killer body!

Everything from the Chin up looks horrible, although if you look at other pictures of him, he really does have a long neck.
but i love the idea of the wet dress clothes, thats about the only good thing in this picture.
and what the hell is going on with his eyebrows…disturbing

It looks like the side of his face is being smashed against a pane of glass…but hey, killer abs dude.
