Portland Pie Off

It’s pie baking time friends, and it’s now or never. If you live in the Portland, Oregon area it’s time to dust off those pie plates and bust out the rolling pins. Portland first ever Pie Off is scheduled for this Saturday, August 30th at 3pm. There’s no better time to get out to Washington Park with pie in hand.
Judges will be rating pies within eight categories and 12 awards will be given.
Among the categories are:
Best Mash-up Pie- You mix it up, judges eat it up.
Best Nut Pie- Yes, nut pie.
Best Local Pie- Local ingredients make you dreamy?
Prettiest Pie- Yes, it’s what’s on the outside that counts.
