PS3, I Has It (Episode 1)
Posted on 08 July 2008 by Erik
I recently got my hands on the third of the three next generation consoles I’ve sought after for the past few years. The specific issue I had with the Playstation 3 was cost, that was my only qualm with it.
I’ve always felt the PS consoles were notoriously slow starters, but it became evident that this particular unit was going to have to wait quite a while before producing some mega-console-clinching titles.
Well one of those titles has shown up and made a very nice showing thus far. Unfortunatly, I won’t have my hands on MGS4 until the end of the week. For now, I consulted a close friend and devoted gamer on what titles would be a good introduction to the device. He made his suggestions, and I must say so far I’m very pleased. I’ll include my full impressions of these games later today.
Oh and it’s really cool that I got my PS3 the day the 2.41update came out, it’s like I walked into the way the PS3 was supposed to be on the first try.
Note: ‘PS3, I Has It’ is a column about a PS3 noobie, and therefore is really intended for people who are new to the PS3. Can’t really offer up any perspective to you vets.
