If you were watching the VMAs last night, you would be surprised at just how many times Russell Brand took shots at the Jonas Brothers.

Russell Brand is the British comedian, turned host of the 2008 VMAs last night, and he was not hesitant to poke fun at the Jonas Brothers, ranging from Taylor Swift up to their promise rings, which he made very crude comments about. One of the comments was that he would take the rings more seriously if they put them on their…. Well let’s just say it wasn’t on their fingers.

Brand went on to take a few more shots saying that he was able to convince one of the Jonas Brothers to give up the ring and come to the dark side, before apologizing to them and taking a shot at R. Kelly for his bathroom etiquette (in which he was in court for not so long ago). Considering the Mafia style Jonas Brothers fan base, Russell Brand should be looking over his shoulder for the next couple of weeks. I’m just saying.
