Did you know that potatoes are grown in 48 states? What you probably did know is that they are a great addition to soups, stews, or alongside your favorite meats! Here are the main types of potatoes and suggestions for how they should be used in your recipes:

    • Russets or Idaho Potatoes – perfect for baking, making French fries,
      or mashing.
    • Round Red & Whites – also called boiling potatoes are delicious in salads
and good for oven roasting and frying.
    • New Potatoes – these are young potatoes of different varieties but are
mainly small round reds with thin skin. They are great for roasting, grilling
      or in potato salads.
    • Yukon Gold – these potatoes have a buttery-tasting flesh. They are
      excellent for boiling and mashing.

Even with a hectic schedule you can still make a delicious homemade potato salad. Plus, you don’t need to visit the store for ingredients, just search your pantry! Add a Russian flair to your table by trying this Russian Potato Salad. CLAUSSEN Sweet Pickle Relish and KRAFT Creamy French Dressing are used in this recipe to differentiate it from other potato salads. Hearty New Potatoes are a perfect match for this salad because they have lower starch content and are firmer when boiled.
