Sasha And Malia Obama Dolls

Sometimes companies are way to quick to try to make money off something or somebody. Such is the case with the beanie babies maker Ty Inc. which, is now making and selling “Sasha and Malia Obama” dolls. The Chicago Tribune reported that;
Part of the company’s Ty Girlz collection, “Marvelous Malia” and “Sweet Sasha” are plush dolls priced at $9.99 apiece. The dolls debuted this month in stores around the country, said Tania Lundeen, Ty senior vice president of sales.
On Monday, Lundeen said the company did not seek permission from the First Family to use the Obama sisters’ images. Two days later, the Ty executive said the dolls were not even based on the Obama girls.
One article quoted that Ty Inc. said they chose the names Sasha and Malia because they were beautiful names and not because of Obama. I find this totally inappropriate!! What do you think?
