Slow Food USA- The Auction

It doesn’t matter if there’s only cobwebs in my wallet, I’m always excited to check out the Slow Food USA auction. Slow Food has loads of foodie friendly items up or bid, and if you’re as crazy about food as I am, you’ll easily spend a few hours browsing the items. So far I’ve got my eye on a dinner for two at Gramercy Tavern-NYC, and 6 pints of Artisan Ice Cream from Bent Spoon. By bidding on auction items, you help contribute to the Slow Food funds that work to protect “the tradition, diversity, taste and pleasure of food.” 100% of the winning bid goes to Slow Food and the work they do to build America’s food community. I’m already imagining how good that Artisan Ice Cream will taste knowing that I bought it for a great cause. Serious yum.
