I hope your ready for more cupcake shops in the world. Today, September 23rd, Sprinkles Cupcakes opens in the Standford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, California.
The bakery that sells red velvet, chai latte and dark chocolate banana cupcakes to crowds of people waiting in long lines is taking their act to the Bay Area. Sprinkles is already cupcaking up the world is Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, Dallas and Scottsdale.
Sprinkles owners, husband and wife team, Candace and Charles Nelson are no strangers to Silicon Valley. They two worked in finance as tech investment bankers before embarking on their cupcake adventures.
Sprinkles cupcakes are baked in small batches throughout the day. They never contain preservatives or anything artificial. They’re the real deal. It seems that Sprinkles is to cupcakes what Starbucks is to coffee. It might not be long before there’s a Sprinkles on every corner.
If there isn’t yet a darling Sprinkles shop near you, check out their cake mixes at William Sonoma. But really, just glance at the darling packaging from afar. The overpriced cake mix is sure to leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Grocery store bought cake mixes would definitely be the smarter way to go.
